Lino Cut Printing Workshops

"We had a fantastic afternoon with Rosanna teaching us the basics of linoprinting. Loads of useful information about the art form and how different printing methods can look, and then lots of time to experiment with lino printing- with lots of great teaching throughout. The whole afternoon was fun, interesting and all of us came away with really lovely prints, and a better idea of how to do more! Group Workshops

Information on each class below, links to book below that!

Introduction to Lino printing:

Price: £55, and this includes all materials and some refreshments.

Timing: 2 pm - 6 pm

People: 6/7 people (3 bookings required for the workshop to run)

We will cover a brief history of lino printing, how to use the tools, different types of mark-making, blocks, ink and paper options. You will also work on your own block to take home with you. All levels welcome! No drawing skills required.

Block Printing - make a stamp

Price: £45, and this includes all materials (fabric, rubber block and paper) and some refreshments.

Timing: 6pm - 8.30pm

People: 4 people (2 bookings required for the workshop to run)

In this session we will carve a rubber stamp that can be used to print on fabric, paper, wrapping paper, old clothes... whatever you like. This class is best if you have a bit of experience with lino printing, but if you are a total beginner please let me know!

Follow up / Improvers / Intermediate

Price: £45, and this includes all materials and some refreshments.

Timing: 6pm - 9pm

People: 6/7 people (3 bookings required for the workshop to run)

This works as a follow up for people who have attended the beginners workshop, or for people who have some experience with linoprinting but want to improve. I'll guide you in design, technique, printing and editioning to create a print of your own.

Linocut Printing in more than one colour

Price: £50, and this includes all materials and some refreshments.

Timing: 2pm - 6pm

People: 6/7 people (3 bookings required for the workshop to run)

Best suited for people who have some experience with lino printing, but confident beginners welcome! Please ask if you have any questions. We will explore a few different methods for printing in more than one colour - jigsaw, gradients, multiblocks and pattern/blockprinting.
