HALF DAY - Lino Printing for Beginners

In this afternoon class, you will learn the basics of making a linocut print, and will leave with at least 1 print of your own making and design!

This workshop is designed to help you learn how to print at home.

What the class involves:

• What is lino printing? A brief history!
• An exploration of artists and their mark making
• Practising with softcut lino
• Transferring an image
• How to draw for lino
• Printing and pressing

Cost: £60

Time: 1.30pm - 6pm

Location: Abbeymount Techbase

Tea, coffee and refreshments are provided, and full information will be sent in the week prior.
